Year-Over-Year Inflation for Producer Prices Nears 10%

Year-over-year wholesale inflation rose 9.7% in January compared to a year earlier, according to the U.S. Labor Department’s producer price index. In his analysis, Chad Moutray, chief economist for the National Association of Manufacturers, says this latest inflation data “will put continued pressure on the Federal Reserve to tackle inflation.”
