Ohio Down to 5% Unemployment in February

According to the last week’s jobs report from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Ohio’s unemployment rate was 5.0% in February 2021, down from 5.3% in January. This compares to 4.7% in February 2020.

Employment losses in manufacturing January to February were (-300).

From February 2020 to February 2021, manufacturing lost 36,600 jobs in durable goods (-34,300) and nondurable goods (-2,300). 3/26/2021
