Update:  This week’s settlement discussions with DP&L were unsuccessful; DP&L did not move from their last settlement proposal of a $135 million average, annual service stability rider (“SSR”).  Thus, parties will have to litigate the case.  The attorney examiner modified the hearing date to now begin on March 18, 2013, but intervenor testimony remains due today.  Greg Bechert, energy consultant for Scioto Energy, will file testimony today on behalf of the OMAEG.  Bechert’s testimony will oppose DP&L’s SSR request of $137.5 million annually and articulate the impact that this proposal will have on manufacturers.
