Update:  As a result of the comments received regarding the PUCO’s investigation into the health, strength, and vitality of Ohio’s retail electric service marke, the PUCO issued an entry on May 29, 2013, finding that Ohio’s retail electric service market would benefit from additional stakeholder meetings.  Accordingly, the PUCO scheduled a series of six workshops to be held between June 25, 2013 and the end of the year.  PUCO Staff was directed to file a status report by January 16, 2014 detailing the progress of the workshops and indicating whether future workshops would be beneficial and/or needed to develop the market development work plan.  The OMAEG Counsel will monitor these workshops and provide routine reports to the OMAEG regarding matters of interest.
