Update:  On September 10, 2014, the Commission approved the results of AEP Ohio’s third energy-only auction.  Five competitive suppliers submitted winning bids during the 20-round auction to provide electricity to AEP Ohio’s standard service offer customers through May 2015.  The auction resulted in an average clearing price of $48.05 per megawatt hour for 25% of AEP Ohio’s load.
