Update:  On October 29, 2014, the Commission granted TimkenSteel and Ohio Power’s proposed amendment to their unique arrangement.  Accordingly, TimkenSteel will be permitted to shop for generation service beginning December 1, 2014, to mitigate the loss of its rate discount, as it has already met the cap previously approved by the Commission, while also permitting TimkenSteel to continue to collect the interruptible credit from January 1 through May 31, 2015.
