Update: On October 14, 2015, the Commission adopted a stipulation proposed by Staff and Eramet Marietta which sought approval to amend Eramet Marietta’s existing reasonable arrangement with AEP Ohio. The Commission found that the stipulation would maintain vital jobs in the area and promote Eramet Marietta’s ability to compete in the global economy. Among other things, the Commission-approved stipulation authorizes Eramet Marietta to purchase its generation supply from a CRES provider. The Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, which opposed the stipulation, had argued in favor of imposing a $10 million aggregate cap on what customers would pay in delta revenue.
