Update:  On November 7, 2014, FirstEnergy filed memoranda contra the motion to compel FirstEnergy to produce certain discovery filed by IGS and the joint motion to compel filed by the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council and the Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel.

Further, on November 12 and 13, 2014, respectively, RESA and the PJM Power Providers Group/Electric Power Supply Association filed memoranda contra FirstEnergy’s motion to amend the procedural schedule governing the proceeding.  The memoranda contra argue that the parties do not oppose the extension of the hearing date, as proposed by FirstEnergy, but rather, oppose FirstEnergy’s lack of willingness to also extend other key procedural dates, including the discovery deadline and the deadline for filing intervenor testimony that were previously established.
