Update:  On May 13, 2014, AEP Ohio filed a memorandum contra the Ohio Office of Consumers’ Counsel’s (OCC) application for rehearing of the Commission’s April 2, 2014 Opinion and Order approving the Stipulation and Recommendation.  AEP argues in its memorandum contra that the Commission’s Opinion and Order supports the reasonableness of the incremental storm expenses incurred and, further, that the stipulation meets the Commission’s three part test for approval of a stipulation, including being in the public interest.  IEU-Ohio also filed a memorandum contra OCC’s application for rehearing, arguing that OCC failed to demonstrate that the Commission erred in determining that the stipulation benefits ratepayers and is in the public interest.
