Update: This week, Duke proposed to settle its gas distribution rate case via a stipulation, rather than litigating the case. Accordingly, Duke proposes an increase of $0 million annually, which is a decrease from its initial request of $46.6 million annually. Many intervening parties have tentatively agreed to this proposal, but are still reviewing the details of the stipulation. The OMAEG has not actively participated in this case because we do not have members in Duke’s territory and the PUCO Staff report did not raise significant issues. Therefore, the OMAEG will remain neutral by not opposing or supporting the stipulation. We will continue to monitor this case.
