Update: The PUCO accepted the results of Duke’s latest wholesale auction. Five suppliers submitted winning bids for a two-year product to supply electricity to Duke’s customers, which resulted in an average clearing price of $48.34/MWh for the delivery period of June 1, 2016 to May 31, 2018. As a comparison, Duke’s wholesale auction held in November 2015 for a similar product resulted in an average clearing price of $49.86/MWh.
