Update:  This week, after further evaluating strategic options, the OMAEG withdrew the testimony of Greg Bechert, energy consultant for Scioto Energy.  The OMAEG is better suited advocating its position in a post-hearing brief, rather than subjecting a witness to live cross-examination by numerous veteran attorneys, especially given the narrow and discreet nature of the proposed testimony.  The OMAEG will still actively participate in the proceeding and will cross-examine DP&L’s witnesses regarding DP&L’s SSR request of $137.5 million annually.  The evidentiary hearing is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 18, 2013 and will likely last a few weeks.  We will provide updates accordingly.
