Update: The PUCO scheduled the complaint for hearing on June 14, 2016 to address Power4Schools’ allegations that FirstEnergy Solutions breached its contract by imposing pass-through surcharges onto Power4Schools.  However, Power4Schools and FirstEnergy Solutions filed a joint request to extend the hearing date to provide additional time to reach a resolution of the issues presented. The PUCO granted the joint request to extend the hearing but stated that a future hearing date will be set by a later entry.

Opt-in group members have a similar complaint case pending.  Although the PUCO has not yet scheduled the matter for hearing, a hearing will likely be scheduled for the fall.
