Update:  As noted previously, DP&L filed Notice of Updated Development on July 14, 2014 informing the Commission that (1) AES Corporation will retain DPL, Inc.’s 3,453 MW of generating assets, and (2) of those assets, 2,897 MW owned by DP&L will be transferred to a separate affiliate of DPL by January 1, 2017.  On July 15, Ohio Energy Group (OEG) filed a motion for a conference to discuss these developments.  This week, on July 24, 2014, DP&L filed a memorandum in opposition to OEG’s motion for a conference, arguing that a conference is not necessary given the approach the Commission has adopted for this proceeding, which involves comments on DP&L’s application(s) by interested parties.
