Update: As you will recall, in February, parties filed post-hearing briefs regarding FE’s energy efficiency and peak demand reduction (EE/PDR) portfolio plan for 2017 through 2019. This week, several environmental intervenors and Ohio Partners for Affordable Energy (OPAE) filed comments urging the PUCO to issue a decision. Advocating for the PUCO’s approval of the settlement reached in this case, the parties explained that the PUCO’s delay in approving the settlement has caused FE to be reluctant in rolling out energy efficiency programs that the PUCO has yet to approve. The case is still pending.
