Update: Ormet filed its response to intervenor comments and objections, basically arguing that the PUCO must act before July 31, 2013 in order to prevent injury to Ormet, its employees, Monroe County, AEP-Ohio, and other ratepayers.  Ormet argues that it is entitled to the emergency relief requested.  On July 15, 2013, Ormet filed an interlocutory appeal of the July 11, 2013 attorney examiner entry requesting the PUCO to reverse the entry with respect to the procedural schedule and schedule an oral argument for the week of July 22, 2013 to allow the PUCO to fully consider and resolve whether an emergency exists and whether Ormet’s request for emergency relief should be granted.  (Note PUCO Commissioners will be attending the NARUC Summer Meetings the week of July 22, 2013.)

Counsel will continue to monitor this case and will alert OMAEG members of any developments.
