Update:  On July 8, 2014, Interstate Gas Supply, Inc. (“IGS”) filed a memo contra to FirstEnergy’s application for rehearing.  IGS argued that FirstEnergy’s application was untimely, that the Commission already considered and rejected FirstEnergy’s assignments of error, and FirstEnergy’s assertion that the Commission ignored the plain definition of “electricity” is incorrect.
