Update: The PUCO approved the settlement OMAEG and several other intervening parties reached in December 2016 to implement AEP’s comprehensive energy efficiency and peak demand reduction (EE/PDR) portfolio, effective from 2017 through 2020. In its Order, the PUCO adopted the proposed $110 million annual program cost cap to protect customers from potential increases in the costs of EE/PDR programs. In the approved settlement, AEP commits to partnering with OMAEG to promote energy efficiency programs for manufacturing customers.
