Update:  AEP-Ohio recently submitted an application seeking recovery of $61.8 million due to expenses it incurred as a result of three storms in summer 2012. The majority of these expenses are from outside contractors and their services. We recommend reviewing the PUCO Staff audit when complete in order to analyze more details regarding AEP-Ohio’s expenditures. In the event that the accounting details raise an issue, then the OMAEG should file comments opposing AEP-Ohio’s request.
