Update:  On January 8, 2014, a technical conference was held where AEP Ohio presented an overview of its SSO application.  Interested parties attended the conference and were given the opportunity to ask questions after AEP Ohio’s presentation.  AEP Ohio responded to a majority of the questions presented by stating that the information sought was confidential and would be better addressed through discovery.  The next step is for a procedural schedule on the matter to be issued.

On January 7, 2014, OMAEG filed a motion to intervene in this proceeding.  Other parties that have filed a motion to intervene include:  Industrial Energy Users-Ohio, Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, Ohio Energy Group, Dominion Retail, Inc. dba Dominion Energy Solutions, Duke Energy Ohio, Inc., Ohio Hospital Association, Duke Energy Retail Sales, LLC, Interstate Gas Supply, Inc., Duke Energy Commercial Asset Management, Inc., and FirstEnergy Solutions Corp.
