Update: On November 21 and 24, 2014, respectively, the Retail Energy Supply Association (RESA) and the Direct Energy Entities filed motions to intervene in the case.

On December 1, 2014, the following parties filed comments in the docket: OMA Energy Group; Industrial Energy Users-Ohio (IEU-Ohio), the Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel (OCC); the Direct Energy Entities; RESA; Ohio Energy Group (OEG); Ohio Hospital Association (OHA); The Kroger Company (Kroger); and the Staff of the Commission. Numerous parties, including OMA Energy Group, cited concerns in their comments that the Commission did not have the requisite authority to grant AEP’s application, as the application implicates wholesale concepts over which FERC properly has jurisdiction. Reply comments are due on December 16, 2014.
