President Donald Trump this week met with Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, joined by Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

Trump described the encounter as “very interesting” and later referred to Tan’s career as “an amazing story.” The president signaled that Tan and White House staff will work together in the coming week to develop strategic proposals for Intel’s future. 8/12/2025
