In his weekly update, Chad Moutray, chief economist for the National Association of Manufacturers, reports that a new survey found more than 77% of small and medium-sized manufacturers expect continued struggles in identifying talent. Conducted by the Manufacturing Institute and BKD, a national CPA and advisory firm, the survey found that the same percentage of firms were making technological investments at their businesses to achieve cost efficiencies in production. 2/16/2021
