Ohio’s December Tax Receipts 11.5% Below Estimate

The State of Ohio collected $2.02 billion in tax receipts last month, about 11.5% less than forecast, according to the Office of Budget and Management. OBM Director Kim Murnieks said the state budget continues to be on solid ground, adding that December’s shortfall is due mostly to a historic level of income tax refunds. 1/8/2024
