The Ohio Manufacturers’ Association (OMA) urged Congress this week to advance the bipartisan SPEED Act, saying the measure would cut red tape and give industry clearer timelines for major projects. In a letter to the House Natural Resources Committee, the group said the bill aligns federal law with Supreme Court precedent, strengthens judicial review and confirms NEPA’s role as a procedural statute.
