Resources to Protect Occupational Hearing Loss

As we reported previously, OSHA has established a Regional Emphasis Program (REP) to raise hearing protection awareness among Midwest manufacturing employers, including those in Ohio. Following a three-month outreach phase that began June 1, OSHA intends to schedule and inspect select manufacturing facilities that have hearing loss rates higher than the U.S. average.
