Guidance for Members: OSHA’s New Reporting Rule

The U.S. Department of Labor recently announced a final rule requiring establishments with 100 or more employees in certain industries (including manufacturing) to electronically submit information once a year to OSHA from their Form 300-Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses and Form 301-Injury and Illness Incident Report. (Scroll to the bottom of this page and view Appendix B for a list of affected industries.)

Dianne Grote Adams, president of OMA Connections Partner Safex, has prepared this short video (and handouts) to explain the rule and provide implementation guidance. Please note that the OMA’s Nov. 2 safety webinar will address OSHA’s new reporting requirements. Register here. 8/22/2023
