This week it was reported that federal lawmakers are taking sides on the debate over the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) decision to discontinue collecting worker pay data, in advance of a public hearing on the issue.
Recently, a federal judge ordered the commission to continue collecting pay data, even though the agency says more than 80% of eligible employers have turned in their 2017 and 2018 compensation information. The deadline was Sept. 30. 11/11/2019
