10/21/2022

With some talk of a looming recession, many corporate leaders are rethinking their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, according to a recent survey by accounting firm KPMG. E&E News reports that one-third of surveyed U.S. CEOs said they had already paused or reconsidered such initiatives. Another 59% said they plan to take those steps soon, despite that 70% said they had seen ESG programs improve their company’s financial performance.
