The OMA Environment Committee will meet Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon. Members can attend via Zoom or in person at the OMA headquarters. A networking lunch will follow. The meeting will include a briefing on how the federal Inflation Reduction Act could affect challenges to future U.S. EPA actions on greenhouse gases. Also, there will be updates on proposed Ohio EPA rules in which the OMA has engaged, including the Maumee Watershed Nutrient TMDL and the Architectural and Industrial Maintenance Coatings Rules.
