Update: On September 22, 2014, Duke Energy Ohio filed correspondence with the Commission indicating that it should not be subject to a blanket order from the Commission “restricting it from disconnecting unpaid bills or charging a late fee for [the] same” in connection with Complainants’ request for an order from the Commission protecting Complainants from such actions from electric distribution utilities in connection with Complainants’ dispute with FirstEnergy Solutions regarding the RTO Expense Surcharge.
On September 23, 2014, AEP Ohio likewise filed correspondence with the Commission indicating that it should not be “subjected to” a blanket do-not-disconnect order for Complainants in connection with their dispute of the RTO Expense Surcharge.
