Update: Intervenors opposed to the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) wrapped up their testimony this week. OMA Energy Group witness Dr. Edward Hill testified in opposition to the PPA this past Monday and did an excellent job during his cross-examination from AEP Ohio’s counsel. Staff agreed with OMA Energy Group and others, testifying that the Commission should deny AEP’s PPA rider as it is currently proposed. It is anticipated that AEP Ohio will be filing rebuttal testimony soon. Sierra Club has filed a notice of its intent to depose any of these yet-to-be identified rebuttal witnesses.
