Update: On November 10, 2014, FES filed a memorandum in support of AEP’s motion for oral argument. Subsequently, on November 12, 2014, Duke Energy Ohio filed correspondence also supporting AEP Ohio’s motion for oral argument.
Also on November 12, 2014, OMA Energy Group, the Retail Energy Supply Association (RESA), and the Environmental Law and Policy Center (ELPC) separately filed memoranda contra AEP Ohio’s motion for oral argument. The basis of the parties’ opposition, among other reasons, is that the record in the ESP case has already been fully developed, and that no further argument on the issues therein is necessary. The parties now await a Commission decision on the need for oral argument.
