Update:  On August 16, 2012, AEP-Ohio filed its revised tariffs based on total bill, including typical bill comparisons, which AEP-Ohio expects to take effect in September 2012.  For CSP customers, AEP-Ohio reflects nearly a 3.7% average total bill increase for nonresidential customers and nearly a 5.8% average total bill increase for OP nonresidential customers.  Please note that as these are averages, some bill impacts will be higher and some will be lower.  We are attaching the typical bill comparisons and two spreadsheets that will allow you to calculate your retail stability rider (“RSR”) rider and the phase in recovery rider (“PIRR”).  On the spreadsheet, simply plug in your monthly kilowatt-hour number (which can be found on your bill) and it should calculate the RSR and the PIRR on a monthly basis for you.  Please note that the PIRR for Ohio Power customers is significantly higher than for Columbus Southern Power customers and will have a real bill impact in and of itself.  As discussed, the OMAEG will file an application for rehearing before the September 7, 2012 deadline.
