The next generation of manufacturing talent could use a few more role models. As part of Manufacturing Month, Aspyr Workforce Innovation is hosting BUILD WHAT’S NEXT Women in Manufacturing, a virtual panel Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10 to 11 a.m., featuring women working at Honda, Owens Corning and Engineered Profiles.
The discussion will feature Emerin Zavala, fabrication manager at Engineered Profiles; Nathalie Rawlins, data analyst at Honda; and Sabrina Cassatt and Alexandria Broskie of Owens Corning. Panelists will share their career journeys, challenges and advice while exploring opportunities in production, technology, data analysis and leadership. The free virtual event is open to high school students, working professionals and adults considering a career change.
Manufacturers can help extend the event’s reach by sharing it with local schools, workforce partners and employees interested in exploring career opportunities. Bringing more women into manufacturing starts with greater exposure to the careers available and the people already doing the work.
Interested participants are encouraged to register in advance. Virtual access information will be provided following registration. 10/8/2026
