Ohio’s TechCred program, administered by the Ohio Department of Development, has released updated guidelines ahead of the next application round, opening Oct. 1, 2026.

The updated program strengthens its focus on technology-driven, industry-aligned skills, allowing employers to receive up to $1,000 per employee, per credential, to support workforce upskilling and build a more tech-ready talent pipeline. Employers select from revised, approved list of industry-recognized credentials and eligible training providers.
