The OMA has submitted comments to the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation in response to the agency’s proposed changes to rules governing lump sum advancements from employers. Under the BWC’s proposed change, the agency would have more discretion when processing a lump sum advancement application, which would reduce predictability for employers. The OMA is requesting a detailed rationale for this change. 9/28/2022
