Adam Snyder, President and COO of Talan Products and Chair of the OMA Workforce Leadership Committee, participated in a panel discussion during the JobsOhio Q2 public Board of Directors Meeting on June 17 focused on the state’s new Experiential Learning Initiative.

The discussion highlighted the alignment between the JobsOhio incentive, which provides employers up to $10,000 per employee enrolled in approved earn-and-learn pathways, and OMA’s Technician Fast Track Program, a one-year registered apprenticeship designed to accelerate the development of manufacturing technicians. Snyder shared the employer perspective on implementing earn-and-learn programs and discussed how these investments can help manufacturers build skilled talent pipelines while creating career advancement opportunities for Ohio workers.
