On April 19, the Ohio House overwhelmingly approved the two-year budget plans for the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (HB 31) and the Industrial Commission (HB 32). As reported by Gongwer News Service, the only substantive change from the as-introduced version of the BWC budget was the removal of a provision to rename the agency the Department of Workforce Insurance and Safety.
