Ohio’s overall tax receipts in August beat estimates by $15.4 million, or 0.7%, according to preliminary data from the Office of Budget and Management. Two months into the new fiscal year, the state’s total tax receipts are exceeding forecasts by more than $40 million, or 0.9%.
