The Central Ohio Manufacturing Partnership, an OMA-Endorsed Industry Sector Partnership, recently partnered with New Albany-Plain Local Schools, the City of New Albany Economic Development, Axium Packaging, and Pharmavite to connect more than 80 students with high-tech manufacturing career opportunities through the Manufacturing Career Ambassador Program.

The experience gave students direct exposure to modern manufacturing environments and the career pathways available in their own community. By bringing together manufacturers, schools, and regional partners, the program helps students better understand the skills, roles, and opportunities that exist across Ohio’s manufacturing sector.

The Manufacturing Career Ambassador Program is designed to support manufacturer-led student engagement and make it easier for companies to participate in career awareness activities.
