Ohio employers have until July 30 to sign up with their local safety council for the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) 2021 policy year. Due to the pandemic, all safety council meetings will be held virtually and no BWC rebate will be offered for the current policy year. See this list of local safety councils that offer virtual meetings. Meanwhile, participants of BWC’s Industry Specific Safety Program, as well as first-year participants of the Drug Free Safety Program, must complete the safety management self-assessment (Form SH26) by July 31 to remain in the program for the 2021 policy year. 7/15/2021
