| Bowling Green State University’s Advanced Manufacturing Summit is coming up Thursday, Oct. 22, bringing manufacturers, students, educators and workforce partners together to explore emerging technology, workforce trends and talent strategies.
Ryan Augsburger, president of the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association, will moderate the summit’s Leadership in Manufacturing panel featuring Matt Myrand of Whirlpool, Annette Heslep of GROB Systems and Stephen Prichard of Owens Corning. “Manufacturing leaders have a responsibility to help the next generation understand where this industry is headed and the opportunities waiting for them,” Augsburger said. “BGSU is bringing together the people shaping investment, talent and technology across Ohio manufacturing. Those conversations are important to keeping Ohio competitive and making sure more young people see a future in manufacturing.” The day also includes a keynote from Principle Business Enterprises President and CEO Andrew Stocking, breakout sessions on the future of work and connecting students with manufacturing careers, robotic demonstrations and networking opportunities. The summit is free to attend, with advance registration required. Capacity is limited. 10/9/2026 |
