In December, Ohio’s jobless rate held steady, but unemployment filings again varied significantly throughout the state’s 88 counties. According to the monthly map published by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, 28 counties saw jobless rates of 3.4% or less, compared to the statewide average of 4.2%.
