Jonathan Koomey, Ph.D. (Koomey Analytics)

Jonathan Koomey is a researcher, author, lecturer, and entrepreneur whose work spans climate solutions, critical thinking skills, trends in computing technologies, and the energy and environmental effects of data centers. Dr. Koomey holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley, and an A.B. in History and Science from Harvard University. Dr. Koomey is the author or coauthor of more than 200 articles and reports and ten books, including Turning Numbers into Knowledge: Mastering the Art of Problem Solving and Solving Climate Change: A Guide for Learners and Leaders.

Congressman Bob Latta (U.S. House of Representatives)

Since 2007, Congressman Bob Latta has represented Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. A senior member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, he serves as chairman of the Energy Subcommittee and also serves on the Communications & Technology and Environment subcommittees. He is also a Deputy Whip and co-chair of the Rural Broadband Caucus and Congressional Propane Caucus.

Congressman Latta has championed policies that strengthen economic growth, expand rural broadband, promote energy independence and improve grid security. He has led efforts to advance key energy legislation, including the Advanced Nuclear Technology Development Act and the Critical Electric Infrastructure Act, helping reinforce America’s leadership in energy innovation and infrastructure resilience.

Congressman Troy Balderson (U.S. House of Representatives)

Congressman Troy Balderson was sworn in as a member of the United States House of Representatives on September 5, 2018, and represents Ohio’s 12th Congressional District.

Troy is a member of the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee, which oversees American energy, health care, and telecommunications policies, among other areas.

In the 119th Congress, Troy serves as chairman of the House Energy Action Team (HEAT), the leading voice on energy policy for House Republicans, and vice chairman of the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. He also serves as a member of the Republican Policy Committee, which is an advisory committee to House Republicans and provides a forum for Republican Members to discuss legislative proposals and current topics before the House.

Abhijeet Sathe serves as Co-CEO at SB Energy, a fully integrated US renewable platform focused on utility-scale solar, storage, and AI-enabled 24/7 energy management. An accomplished executive with over 30 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, Abhijeet’s decisive leadership is backed by proven expertise in the fields of solar development and systems engineering, with specific regard to strategy, research, design, engineering, and operations. He is skilled at building disciplined teams and cultures.

Prior to leading SB Energy, Abhijeet was the Vice President of Global Design and Engineering at SunEdison, heading a global team for commercial/DG and utility businesses. Prior to this, he worked as Director of Quality at SunPower Corporation and as Director of Wafer Fab Operations at General Electric Corporation. Abhijeet began his storied career focused on MicroElectroMechanical engineering at Endevco, Nayna Networks and Silicon Microstructures, Inc.

Abhijeet earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a BS in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from COEP Technological University. He holds numerous patents for photovoltaic and semiconductor technologies and is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
