Here’s what the OMA does to ensure Ohio public policy works for Ohio manufacturers:
- Organizes manufacturers to review, assess, analyze, propose and/or oppose state legislation and regulations
- Communicates directly with policy makers in conjunction with and on behalf of manufacturers
- Provides regular, current information specific to manufacturers to ensure they are aware of legislation and regulations that impact their businesses
- Utilizes it staff expertise to help individual members resolve issues associated with legislative or regulatory issues
- Works to elect manufacturing-friendly candidates
- Helps members communicate with their employees about candidates, issues and pending legislation that affect their jobs and companies
