Ohio Ranked 2nd by Site Selection

Every year since 2012, Ohio has been ranked second by Site Selection magazine in qualifying new projects. And each year, we’re second to Texas. (We were number one in 2009 and 2011.)

Site Selection ranks states by the number of qualifying new projects. Projects are eligible if they meet three criteria: 1) investment of at least $1M, 2) square footage of 20,000 or more, and 3) job creation of 20 or more.

Ohio posted 467 qualifying projects in 2017, at least half of which, according to the Ohio Development Services Agency, were manufacturing projects. 3/8/2018
